She works for the Gaa dibaatjimat Ngaashi-Stay in School Program, where she leads Aboriginal youth in creative writing and audiovisual projects. Gaudet writes storybooks for young children. Both books are accompanied by cassettes of Logan speaking Ojibwe. The two women have written a third book with Gaudet's daughter, Dakwaakin, entitled My Special Ceremony. Gaudet teaches Ojibwe singing at the Centre for Indigenous Theatre, and traditional dancing and shawl-making at the Native Woman's Resource Centre in her hometown of Toronto. She has been a member of the Eagle Heart Drummers and Dancers since 1986.

"I love working with youth. They are so creative and inspiring. It is my wish to open up doorways of opportunities that the past generations have not had."
