Desde 2003, el gobierno mexicano ha tratado de construir la presa hidroeléctrica La Parota, lo que inundaría varias comunidades al sur de Acapulco. Este documental retrata las comunidades que se han resistido a este proyecto, sus vidas, su trabajo y su amor a la tierra.
