The Cree of northern Saskatchewan living along the Churchill River have managed the river's fragile ecosystem to sustain their traditional way of life for hundreds of years. This documentary looks at the cultural and environmental degradation caused by dams built by mining companies, sharing first hand stories from the communities as they consider how they, the sturgeon, the land and the dams can co-exist in the future.
