Set on the Navajo Reservation, Black Cloud tells the story
of a young Navajo man who must face down his inner demons if he
wants to make the U.S. Olympic boxing team. The film was inspired
by the real-life accomplishments of the Damon Bahe Boxing Club
of Chinle, Arizona - an after-school program for local youths
at risk-which has 27 national champions to its credit.


Premios
Funded by tribes in California, Minnesota and Oklahoma, Black
Cloud has won several awards, including the Best Picture Audience
Award at the 2004 Phoenix Film Festival.
