Más de 10.000 personas indígenas dependen del Río Xingu en Brasil para su supervivencia. Ahora la propuesta de instalar una represa hidroeléctrica, la tercera más grande del mundo, amenaza su esperanza de un futuro sostenible. Este video da testimonio de su decisión de proteger su modo de vida, al reunirse en el Encuentro del Xingu Vivo en Altamira en 2008.
