filmmaker SarahDel Seronde (Navajo)
has completed her first feature, Making the River, the
life story of Jimi Simmons. The film was selected for opening
night of the 2008 Indigenous Film & Arts Festival in Denver.
Seronde has started an independent multimedia company in Flagstaff,
Arizona with her business partner, Paul Stoll. She is currently
enrolled in an advanced filmmaking program in Sedona, Arizona.
Upon completion, she intends to continue to capture individual
human experience through documentaries.
