February 2009

Michael David Little (Navajo) was raised on and off of the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. A member of an artistic family, Little was a musician until the age of 21 when, with his brother's encouragement, he began painting. In 2007 he participated in a production workshop in Phoenix organized by ReelNative, a program for artists and new media makers that was developed as a part of the WGBH series We Shall Remain. Little's short personal documentary, which was produced on a cell phone, was screened at the Museum of Modern Art's Documentary Fortnight in 2008.
