Genevieve Jackson (Navajo)
is an educator from New Mexico. In her twenty-two year career
she has served as both a teacher and an administrator, and is
currently the president of the Gallup-McKinley County Board of
Education. She has served eight years on the Navajo Tribal Council
as the chairwoman of the Health and Social Services Committee.
She also served as the executive director of the Division of Diné
Education. Jackson has received numerous awards for distinguished
leadership and has represented the Navajo Nation at the national
and international levels.
