Fabiola Gervacio (Mixe) works
in the communications area in the Women's Commission of UCIZONI
(Union of Indigenous Communities of the Northern Region of the
Isthmus). She has produced three videos on the problems facing
indigenous peoples of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and their organizational
strategies, particularly among women. In addition, Fabiola is
a school teacher, active in promoting Mixe language and culture.
