"It is through my art and writing that I have found my place
and voice in First Nations society. I am an artist in two and
three-dimensional works, a performing artist, writer, singer and
actor, creator of video and photography. I feel as an artist it
is my job to bring my views and experiences to the public's attention,
no matter how trivial or controversial my subject matter may be.
If my works can create discussions then my work is successful.
It is through these discussions that people come together. As
artists we can create positive changes in our environment and
our societies if change is needed."
