Listiguj, a Mi'gmaq community in Quebec, lost touch with its language and values as it gained economic prosperity. The Listiguj Education Directorate wants to reintroduce the language into all aspects of community life. While the use of a unique picture based teaching method that makes language learning fun is proving to be a powerful tool, the key language resource is still the support of dedicated elders.
