Directions
The National Museum of the American Indian, George Gustav Heye Center, is located at One Bowling Green adjacent to the northeast corner of Battery Park, New York, New York.
Museum hours: 10 am - 5 pm every day and until 8 pm on Thursdays.
Subway:
4, 5 to Bowling Green; R, W to Whitehall St.; 1 to South Ferry; J, M, Z trains
to Broad St.

Bus: M1, M6, M15 to South Ferry
Theater:
The Auditorium is located on the lower level.
Accessibility: The museum is fully accessible.
Please note: Visitors are required to pass through a security check and
magnetometer, much like airport security. No sharp or metal items are allowed
into the museum.
All programs at the museum are free of charge.
