Randy Redroad, Amalia Cordova and Gabriela Zamorano in Sanitiago, ChileThe 13th Native American Film + Video Festival, held in New York from November 30 through December 3, 2006, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Film and Video Center.

In 2007, the festival travels to the the southern hemisphere for a showcase organized by the NMAI Film and Video Center in partnership with cultural and educational institutions in Santiago, Chile. Twenty -three works shown at the festival - from Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the United States - will be presented in Santiago.

Host organizations are: the Catholic University of Chile (www.uc.cl/extension, www.cineuc.cl), the National Cinematheque of the La Moneda Palace Cultural Foundation (www.cinetecanacional.cl), and Chilean Museum of Pre-Colombian Art (www.museoprecolombino.cl).
